There's more to Benny than meets the eye. Not only does he have proven structure and conformation in the show ring, he's extensively health tested with multiple OFA CHIC certifications that include an extremely RARE rating of EXCELLENT Hips.
To put that in context, there are only 64 French Bulldogs in the 21 year history of OFA testing that have ever received that rating.

This beautiful health tested blue fawn is also carrying cocoa, tan and cream. Scarlett is 18#, very correct female with straight front, strong pasterns, shourt back and proper topline. She has great ear set and nice underjaw with proper bite. She is a red-based blue fawn QUAD. Scarlett is DNA health tested clear of 187+ genetic diseases and is undergoing preliminary OFA tests.

Redefining Fad Color

Not only does he have proven structure and conformation in the show ring (as do his offspring Crowd Pleazer's Firecracker GiGi and Peerless Hannibal at the Gates), he's extensively health tested with multiple OFA certifications that include an extremely RARE rating of EXCELLENT Hips.
Benny is making waves in not only the Fad Color community but also with standard color breeders. He has often been mistaken as a "standard" red fawn pied, usually in photos where you can't see his amber eye color or nose. And we love that! Because it's supposed to be about the dog and not about the color.
An unusual side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic is that several Champion and Grand Champion standard AKC French Bulldogs registered in ABKC to compete when their AKC shows were cancelled, bring an unprecedented number of AKC standard dogs into the ring with FBD dogs of all colors, including Benny. We are that much more proud of earning our Grand Championship with the increased level of quality and competition.
To that end, Benny now has quality offspring in both worlds with many "standard" breeders privately outcrossing to him to bring in his structure and health along with a copy of cocoa and blue every single time. While they might not be visibly Fad Color, they are carrying. These pups (both standard and Fad Color) are already proving themselves in the show ring, which has never been done and we are setting the stage for the legacy to continue.
