Blue Desert Willow is a beautiful sable blue tan owned by Blue Hippo Frenchies. Willow has a luxurious, silky sable coat with a gorgeous mocha tone and produces deep mahogany red-toned blues with Benny. She has beautiful tan cheeks, much like Benny's, and her sire was a stunning blue sable Urajiro. She carries tan (at) so with Benny's wildcard recessive "a", 25% of the puppies could be either blue tan or lilac tan.

Willow is compact, has a gorgeous expressive face full of wrinkles, straight legs with nice bone, a nice topline, beautiful ear set, tight feet, a short back and open nares. Combined with Benny's extensive health testing and his OFA certifications for hips, spine, trachea, heart, elbows and knees, these puppies are set up for success! Not only does he have proven structure and conformation in the show ring (as do his offspring Crowd Pleazer's Firecracker GiGi, Krings Peachy Keane and Peerless Hannibal at the Gates), he's extensively health tested with multiple OFA certifications that include an extremely RARE rating of EXCELLENT Hips.
Benny is making waves in not only the Fad Color community but also with standard color breeders. He has often been mistaken as a "standard" red fawn pied, usually in photos where you can't see his amber eye color or nose. And we love that! Because it's supposed to be about the dog and not about the color.
An unusual side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic is that several Champion and Grand Champion standard AKC French Bulldogs registered in ABKC to compete when their AKC shows were cancelled, bring an unprecedented number of AKC standard dogs into the ring with FBD dogs of all colors, including Benny. We are that much more proud of earning our Grand Championship with the increased level of quality and competition.
To that end, Benny now has quality offspring in both worlds with many "standard" breeders privately outcrossing to him to bring in his structure and health along with a copy of cocoa and blue every single time. While they might not be visibly Fad Color, they are carrying. These pups (both standard and Fad Color) are already proving themselves in the show ring, which has never been done and we are setting the stage for the legacy to continue.
